JCVD      Action - Rated M                                                                                                         Stars  Jean-Claude Van Damme.
Jean Claude Van Damme stars in this (not quite true) insight to his life. This isn't the action film you'd expect from Van Damme, instead it's more of a comedy-drama, in which he's not afraid to poke fun at himself. This has had some great reviews overseas and here,Between his tax problem and his legal battle with his wife for the custody of his daughter, these are hard times for the action star who finds that even Steven Seagal has pinched a role from him! In JCVD Jean-Claude Van Damme returns to the country of his birth to seek the peace and tranquillity he can no longer enjoy in the United States. This is a comedy-slash-confessional, and the Muscles from Brussels opens up about his wayward life, drug problems, and anything-for-a-paycheck career pathand it's actually pretty funny, too.
It's in Belgian/French with English subtitles.Distributor: Paramount    RELEASE DATE 2/7/09    BRETT'S  RATING 3

Midnight Meat Train           Horror - Rated R18+

Stars  Bradley Cooper, Vinnie Jones, Brooke Shields.
Bradley Cooper (He's Just Not That Into You) plays a photographer who is intrigued by a serial killer stalking the city's subway. However, the killer (played by a mute Vinnie Jones) has a reason for the bloodshed. And there is a lot of bloodshed (it's rated R18+ for a reason). You could argue that it's more of a thriller/horror than an out-and-out horror flick, and that might make it more accessible to customers.
