Only brash-but-lovable Timothy Mouse offers the hand of friendship to Dumbo. After trepidatiously indulging in a vat of booze, Dumbo awakens in a tall tree. Goaded by a group of jive-talking crows, Dumbo discovers that his outsized ears have given him the ability to fly. The musical score by Frank Churchill and Oliver Wallace won Oscars for them both.

Dear John -      Romance   Rated   M

Stars Channing Tatum, Amanda Seyfried

Based on the bestselling novel by Nicholas Sparks, Dear John tells the story of John Tyree, a young solider home on leave, and Savannah Curtis, the idealistic college student he falls in love with during her spring vacation.

Remember how big The Notebook was? Well, Dear John is another adaptation of a Nicholas Sparks novel, and it's just as weepy as The Notebook was. There are two very hot stars in Amanda Seyfried and Channing Tatum, and this is going to wrok really well with teen renters especially. There are a couple of good romance films this month (Remember Me being the other one), and they shoud work off the back of each other.

With the Queen (Kathy Bates) hot on her trail, Alice isn't certain which of the many characters of Wonderland she can trust to help her escape—and maintain a level headWith Alice in Wonderland also releasing this month, there's a chance that this might get a little overlooked at store level. Which would be a pity, as this isn't a bad mini series at all, if a little dark at times. So position this with Alice in Wonderland to get the most out of it. It is long (it's over two discs, eachof which are 90 mins long), so you'd be best off offering this a two night rental.

The End -        Documentary Rated MA15+

Stars Les Falco, Victor Dark, Mickey Goldtooth

Against the background of the East End of London, England, Nicola Collins explores the fascinating complexity of the lives of her father and his friends: infamous criminals that shaped their war torn environment into a violent underworld. The End is a story never before told, of a group of men with a common bond. The End reveals the bloody history and the confessions of the cockney gangster. Their stories are rife with brutality and bloodshed but, somehow, she manages to frame them without judgment. Indeed, in counterpoint to her gritty visual style and industrial soundtrack, she captures glimmers of humanity in the now grizzled faces of these notorious Cockney gangsters who still crave respect, abide by their criminal code of honor, and talk as freely about their families, friendships, and God as they do about murder.

And with good reason, as this is a very well done romance/drama. Also starring Aussie Emilie de Ravin (from TV's Lost) as R-Pat's love interest, this is a little bleaker than some might expect, but the payoff is worth it. It's also a little more adult than the typical Pattinson might be used to, but nevertheless - it'll rent.

Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass re-team for the electrifying thriller, Green Zone. In the film, Damon stars as Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller, a rogue U.S. Army officer who must hunt through covert and faulty intelligence hidden on foreign soil before war escalates in an unstable region. It's not quite as action heavy as the Bourne trilogy, but Green Zone still packs enough of a punch to keep anyone enterained. Set in Iraq, it's also timely, and we know that other recent war movies have done well. Put this next to last month's The Hurt Locker, and both will get more attention as a result.
